Platform HG Financing plc
London U.K. Wednesday 8th July 2026
Platform Housing Group (Platform), one of England's larger social landlords, owning over 50,000 homes across the Midlands, is announcing that Emma Palmer has been appointed as Group Chief Executive (CEO).
Emma will take over from Kevin Bolt, who was appointed at the start of the year and took over as interim CEO following the departure of Elizabeth Froude, who had been at Platform since 2019.
Emma will work alongside Platform's Group Board Chair, Helen Gillett, to deliver the Corporate Strategy. Helen commented: "I'm delighted to welcome Emma as our new Chief Executive. Emma brings deep and broad sector leadership experience and has a highly regarded track record of delivering positive outcomes for residents, colleagues and wider stakeholders".
Emma, who has been Chief Executive of Eastlight Homes for the last eight years, will start in September 2026 and commented: "I'm incredibly proud to be joining Platform Housing Group at such an exciting time for the organisation. Platform has an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality homes and putting customers first, whilst balancing the need to remain financially resilient.
"Throughout my career I've seen great services begin by listening to customers, colleagues and partners. I'm looking forward to getting out across Platform's communities, meeting colleagues and customers, understanding what matters most to them and building on the excellent work already taking place."
