Completion of £600m Share Buyback Programme

Legal & General completes first £600m tranche of £1.2bn share buyback programme

Further to the announcement made on 12 March 2026, Legal & General Group Plc (the 'Company') announces that it has successfully completed the first £600m tranche of its £1.2bn share buyback programme (the 'Programme').

As a result of the Programme, the Company acquired 225,507,499 ordinary shares at an average price of 266.07 pence per share for a total consideration of £599,999,998.11.

As at close of business on 11 September 2026, the Company had 5,477,298,229 ordinary shares in issue, 1,520,084 of which are pending cancellation under the Programme. The Company does not hold any ordinary shares in treasury and therefore, net of ordinary shares pending cancellation, the Company's total number of ordinary shares in issue and total voting rights is 5,475,778,145. 

A further announcement will be made ahead of the commencement of the second tranche of the Programme.
