Mpac (AIM: MPAC), the global packaging and automation solutions Group, announces that, following the conclusion of its 2027 Annual General Meeting, expected to be held in May 2027, Andrew Kitchingman will step down from the Board and from his position as Chair. After due consideration, the Board has decided that David Squires, currently non-executive director, will succeed Andrew as Chair at that time. Andrew has served as a non-executive director of Mpac for 10 years, including eight years as Chair.

Adam Holland, Chief Executive Officer, said: “On behalf of the Board and everyone at Mpac, I would like to thank Andrew for his outstanding contribution over the past 10 years. His leadership as Chair in particular has been instrumental in guiding the Group, and his commitment, insight and support have been greatly valued. We wish him every success for the future.”

David Squires, non-executive director, said: “I am delighted to be succeeding Andrew as Chair and look forward to continuing to work with the Board and the wider team as the Group continues to develop. I would also like to recognise Andrew’s  significant contribution and dedicated service to Mpac.”

Andrew Kitchingman, Chairman, commented: “It has been a privilege to serve as a non-executive director and Chair of Mpac and to work alongside colleagues across the Group over the past 10 years. I would like to thank the Board and everyone at Mpac for their support and commitment throughout my time with the Company. I look forward to working closely with David over the coming months to effect an orderly handover. I  wish David every success as Chair and look forward to following the Group’s progress.”
