Appointment of Senior Independent Director
The Board of Directors (the "Board") of AVI Japan Opportunity Trust plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce the creation of the role of Senior Independent Director at their Strategy Day Meeting and the appointment of Non-Executive Director Andrew Rose to that position, effective from 8 June 2026.
Andrew Rose will continue to serve as a Non-Executive Director of the Company alongside his new responsibilities as Senior Independent Director.
There are no further details to be disclosed pursuant to UKLR 6.4.6R in respect of Andrew Rose's appointment as Senior Independent Director
