Appointment of Director

Steven Smith has been appointed to the Board of AAA as a Non-Executive Director.

Following a degree in Commerce from the University of Liverpool, Steven qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1983 while at BDO and subsequently as a Chartered Tax Adviser while at KPMG. He lectured in Taxation at the Financial Training Company for four years and then held a number of senior financial positions at large public and private groups.

For the last 24 years, Steven has been a close adviser to Nick Candy and he currently runs Candy Ventures Sarl (‘CVS’) from its base in Luxembourg. CVS is a significant investor in AAA.

Steven has simultaneously been appointed to the Board of Sentiance N.V., the Belgian predictive AI business, which is AAA’s key investment asset.
