Transaction in Own Shares
AIB Group plc ("AIB" or the "Company") announces that from 20 April 2026 to 24 April 2026, it purchased a total of 3,065,000 of its ordinary shares of EUR 0.625 each ("Ordinary Shares") on Euronext Dublin through Goodbody Stockbrokers UC ("Goodbody"), as detailed below. The purchases form part of the Company's €1.0 billion share buyback programme announced on 4 March 2026. The repurchased shares will be cancelled.

Following cancellation of the repurchased shares above, the Company's total number of Ordinary Shares in issue shall be 2,117,139,177, each carrying the right to one vote. The Company holds nil Ordinary Shares in treasury.
