Barclays PLC25 October 2006 Application has been made to The UK Listing Authority and the London StockExchange for block listings totalling 30,000,000 Ordinary shares of 25p each totrade on the London Stock Exchange and to be admitted to the Official List uponissuance. The shares shall rank equally with the existing issued shares of theCompany. The Block listings consist of 10,000,000 shares to be issued under the BarclaysIncentive Share Option Plan and 20,000,000 shares to be issued under theBarclays SAYE Share Option Scheme.
