(Alliance News) - Zenova Group PLC on Wednesday said it presented its range of fire safety and heat management solutions to the TV and film industry at Pinewood Studios, and has received initial orders.
The Essex-based fire safety and thermal insulation products provider said it was invited by Bells & Two Tones Fire & Rescue Ltd to present its products to fire safety officers and executives from studios from the UK and abroad, including Pinewood Studios, Disney Studios, Marvel Studios, Netflix, Lucasfilm Ltd, and Shepperton Studios.
Zenova said live demonstrations were given of their Zenova FP, Zenova WB, Zenova IP and Zenova FX500 products.
The company said post-demonstration interviews indicated growing interest in their product range, and said the "overall sense" from Bells & Two Tones, which carried out the demonstrations, was that "the Zenova fire safety and heat management range has multiple uses within the TV and film industry and they are looking forward to seeing further adoption and specification within the industry in the near future."
Zenova said as a result of the demonstration, initial orders have been received for the Zenova FX500 and Zenova FP for use within the TV and film industry.
"This is the start of a new era where the UK TV and film industries become the safest in the world and I am looking forward to educating more of the industry in what can be achieved by using Zenova products," Ewan Dunshire, director of Bells & Two Tones said.
Zenova Chief Executive Officer Tony Crawley said: "This was a magnificent opportunity for the Zenova team to meet with the decision makers regarding safety and sustainability. Individuals from the leading film industry were present enabling key questions and answers on the day to be raised and answered, with some positive feedback and ongoing benefits as a result."
Zenova shares were up 1.7% trading at 12.20 pence per share on Monday afternoon in London.
