LONDON (Alliance News) - Wireless Group PLC Friday said its talkSPORT radio service has been awarded three live UK audio packages for the upcoming three Premier League seasons.
This makes talkSPORT the only national commercial radio station to carry live English Premier League coverage, it said. The packages comprise matches on Saturday at 1500 and 1730, and Sunday at 1330.
"We are very pleased that talkSPORT has been awarded three of the Premier League's live audio packages, giving us the opportunity to play out more live Premier League football for our listeners than ever before," said Chief Operating Officer Scott Taunton in a statement.
Shares in Wireless were up 0.2% at 181.28 pence Friday.
