FTSE 100 & 250 movers in focus:
----------
Vistry Group PLC, down 7.7% at 261.8p, 12-month range 220.00p-746.40p. The FT reports credit insurer Allianz Trade is cutting the cover it offers to suppliers of the housebuilder. Citing people familiar with the decision, the newspaper says the move could result in cover being reduced by up to 70%. The final level of cover provided may hinge on Vistry's financial performance in times to come, the FT reports. The likes of Allianz Trade insure suppliers in case customers fail to pay for services or products.
----------
Plus500 Ltd, up 6.9% at 4,015.0p, 12-month range 2,874.00p-5,535.00p. The trading platform provider ups its payout and announces a USD100 million share buyback. Pretax profit in the first half of 2026 rises 0.8% to USD183.2 million from USD181.8 million a year prior, with revenue up 12% to USD462.9 million from USD415.1 million.
----------
Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust, up 1.5% at 1,417.0p, 12-month range 1,015.74p-1,563.00p. US tech shares surged on Friday, with the Nasdaq Composite adding 1.3%, following a markedly softer-than-expected US jobs report, which reduces the pressure on the US Federal Reserve to raise interest rates. SMIT's portfolio includes a who's who of major tech names, including recently listed Space Exploration Technologies Corp, as well as Nvidia Corp.
----------
Fresnillo PLC, up 1.3% at 2,901.5p, 12-month range 1,617.00p-4,472.00p. Gold moves higher to over USD4,346 an ounce on Monday from around USD4,342 late Friday. Gold climbed 2% on Friday on the back of the weaker US jobs data. The Bureau of Labor Statistics said nonfarm payrolls shrunk by 23,000 in July, after rising 20,000 in June. Payrolls had been expected to rise by 80,000 last month, however, according to market consensus cited by FXStreet.
