Small-cap and AIM movers in focus:

Solid State PLC, up 15% at 160p, 12-month range 135.00p-210.00p. The component supplier and computing, power, and communications product maker expects revenue and profit ahead of consensus for the year that ended March 31. It expects revenue of no less than GBP150 million, beating consensus of GBP145.0 million and adjusted pretax profit of ahead of consensus of GBP7.2 million. Revenue in financial 2025 totalled GBP125.1 million and adjusted pretax profit amounted to GBP5.0 million.

Intuitive Investments, up 13% at 195p, 12-month range 95.00p-206.00p. It hits this 12-month high on Wednesday. It says it has agreed "in principle" to a GBP600 million takeover by Main Market listed acquisition company Acceler8 Ventures. The deal will see Acceler8 issue 2.6052 new shares per Intuitive Investments share. "The independent directors of IIG currently intend that they would recommend this possible offer, if made on the terms set out in this announcement, to IIG shareholders," the investor in technology and life science companies says. "The board of IIG has given significant consideration to the ways in which a combination of IIG and AC8 could generate value for their respective shareholders. The boards of both IIG and AC8 believe that there is a strong rationale for undertaking the possible offer."

Gulf Marine Services PLC, up 8.4% at 19.91 pence, 12-month range 14.44p-24.30p. The ceasefire boosts shares in the provider of support vessels to the offshore energy industry. GMS last month received instructions from an unnamed Middle East client to immediately evacuate personnel from four vessels operating under its jurisdiction due to the conflict.

Jet2 PLC, up 8.2% at 1,215.00p, 12-month range 1,029.00p-1,963.00p. Travel stocks are back on the rise after a US-Iran ceasefire announcement. The airline and tour operator is down 3.3% since the onset of the conflict.

EnQuest PLC, down 11% at 18.51p, 12-month range 9.72p-21.35p. The oil and gas company with operations in the UK and Malaysia tracks Brent lower. The North Sea benchmark falls to USD95.33 a barrel from USD103.40 late Tuesday amid the ceasefire.
