BP PLC, up 1.4% at 599.30 pence, 12-month range 329.20p-609.40p. The oil major has been turbocharged by another leap in the crude price. Brent is trading above USD110 a barrel. Hargreaves Lansdown analyst Matt Britzman comments: "Oil has effectively become the key transmission channel for broader market risk, with moves now feeding directly into everything from bond yields to equity sentiment and even gold prices as investors try to gauge how far the conflict could hit global energy supply."

----------

Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust, up 3.2% at 1,308.75p, 12-month range 778.14p-1,310.00p. The stock hits this 12-month high on Tuesday. Shares are set for a fourth successive daily rise. Space Exploration Technologies Corp has filed confidentially for a US initial public offering, Bloomberg reported last week Wednesday, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter. Scottish Mortgage which invests in both public and private companies, had said the value of its holding in SpaceX has been increased so that the holding now makes up 19.3% of its portfolio as of March 31, up from 15.4% on February 28. Baillie Gifford US Growth Trust PLC, listed in the FTSE 250, rises 1.9% on Tuesday. Last week it said SpaceX now represents 14.9% of its portfolio, up from 11.9%, on the same dates. NAV per share was 301.12p on March 31.

----------

Hunting PLC, up 0.8% at 495.00p, 12-month range 245.00p-553.00p. It has won multiple orders for its titanium stress joint product line for a new offshore development in Guyana. "The award will be completed by the group's Subsea Spring business unit and will be delivered through to May 2028, with revenue being recognised from H2 2026," the provider of equipment and engineering services to oil and gas industry says.

----------

AJ Bell PLC, up 2.2% at 495.80p, 12-month range 355.20p-578.50p. Keefe, Bruyette & Woods starts coverage of AJ Bell at 'outperform'.

----------

3i Group PLC, down 1.3% at 2,651.75p, 12-month range 2,255.00p-4,497.00p. A five-day winning streak looks set to be snapped. It surged 17% during that stretch, but had slumped 18% on March 26.
