Small-cap and AIM movers in focus:

The technology solutions provider to industrial markets says its display and human machine interface technology brand Densitron has won a new order from "a leading supplier of automotive electronics" for customised display solutions for "a new electric delivery vehicle application." Expects production to start in the second half of 2026, "with production volumes anticipated to materially increase in the following three years as the customer's product rollout expands." "The programme expands the group's presence into the automotive sector, broadening its exposure across attractive industrial markets, and provides further evidence of successful pipeline conversion and growing engineering-led customer engagement in line with its strategic objectives," Nexteq says.
----------
Central Asia Metals PLC, up 9.1% at 182.8 pence, 12-month range 127.2p-241.5p. The London-based mining company, which focuses on Kazakhstan and North Macedonia, reports pretax profit of USD59.3 million, up sharply from USD19.6 million a year earlier. Revenue climbed to USD145.5 million from USD99.5 million. Adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose 89% to USD75.5 million from USD39.9 million. Copper sales rose 9.5% to 6,287 tonnes in the first half of 2026 from 5,744 tonnes a year earlier. Average copper price received jumped 39% to USD13,171 per tonne from USD9,458. As a result, revenue from Kounrad rose 50% to USD80.8 million from USD53.0 million. Company also announces it has agreed to acquire Cygnus Metals Ltd and its Chibougamau copper-gold project in Quebec, and declares an improved interim dividend of 8 pence, up 78% from 4.5 pence a year earlier. Maintains 2026 guidance, saying production is on track.
----------
Arkadian Strategic Metals PLC, down 12% at 0.011 pence, 12-month range 0.011p-0.038p. Rose 4.0% shortly after the London market open, after the strategic metals and gold-focused exploration and development company updated on exploration activities at its 100%-owned Clogau-St David's Gold Mine in north Wales. Arkadian says ladder and platform installations have been completed to establish access from the Tyn y Cornel Level to the Jack Williams stope area, which is "the westernmost historically mined portion of the Main Lode, the source of most historic gold production at Clogau-St David's." Says direct access will enable geological inspection, mapping and systematic sampling to determine whether more extensive underground development is justified. Adds that detailed sampling and mineralogical review of the Lower Llechfraith Level 5 development and other accessible parts of the mine remains ongoing.
