Small-cap and AIM movers in focus:

----------

Hardide PLC, up 19% at 88.5 pence, 12-month range 6.5p-89p. The Bicester, England-based surface treatment technology company forecasts a performance "materially ahead of its previous expectations," which it says are for Ebitda of GBP4.3 million and revenue of GBP13.4 million, for the year ending September 30. "I am delighted with the ongoing growth trajectory and progress being achieved across the group," Chief Executive Matt Hamblin commented. "We are now focused on doubling revenues again from current year levels and diversifying our customer base over the next few years." Says that its strong momentum continues, with revenue of GBP4.1 million for the third quarter ended June 30 and year-to-date revenue GBP8.9 million. Cites contract wins and "ongoing improvements in operational performance which have facilitated improved factory utilisation and output rates." Also says it is achieving operating profit margins higher than anticipated, which it says reflects effective management of input cost inflation, the ongoing identification and harnessing of operational efficiencies, and a lower-than-expected investment requirement to support its growth. Adds that "the foundations are now in place to support an ambition to more than double annual revenues again over the next 2-3 years."

----------

Harena Rare Earths PLC, up 25% at 2.4 pence, 12-month range 1.35p-4.1p. Signs a project development funding agreement with the United States International Development Finance Corp, the US government's international investment arm, for the Ampasindava ionic clay project in Madagascar. Says the PDFA is "a transformational milestone for Harena", as it marks the DFC's first direct financial commitment to the project and formalises "a partnership that the company believes will be central to unlocking the project's development towards production." Says the DFC has committed to fund a substantial share of the agreed budget of project development costs, and that the first tranche of funds is already underway. Adds that the proceeds are earmarked for permitting, environmental and social studies; for the development of its proof-of-concept pilot plant; for accelerating the pathway to the definitive feasibility study; and a construction decision.

----------

Reach PLC, down 23% at 45.18 pence, 12-month range 45.1p-78p. The commercial news publisher, whose titles include the Mirror, Express, and MyLondon, declares an interim dividend of 1.44p for the first half of 2026, cut from 2.88p a year before. Says it "rebased" the dividend "to create more financial flexibility", and that it will continue to review its capital allocation policy, particularly from 2028 onwards, as its pension deficit payments reduce in size. It faces GBP57 million in pension contributions and GBP25 million in cash costs for its print site consolidation programme for 2026. Swings to a pretax loss of GBP45.3 million in the six months that ended June 30 from a GBP27.0 million profit a year before, as revenue falls by 9.0% to GBP232.9 million from GBP256.0 million. On an adjusted basis, pretax profit is GBP40.3 million, down 5.0% from GBP42.4 million. Also flips to an operating loss of GBP43.5 million from a GBP29.7 million profit, with an adjusted operating profit of GBP43.0 million, down 4.1% from GBP44.8 million. Digital revenue falls by 11% to GBP54.2 million in from GBP61.1 million, with indirect revenue from search engine referrals down 16% as referral volume from Google plummets 55% on-year.

----------

Sealand Capital Galaxy Ltd, up 22% at 0.275 pence, 12-month range 0.21p-0.51p. Agrees conditionally to acquire Brilliant Glow Group Co Ltd, the Hong Kong-incorporated owner of Shenzhen Brilliant Glow Consulting Services Co Ltd, for GBP6.6 million in total. Says the deal is aligned with its strategy to broaden its APAC-focused consulting and technology-enabled service capabilities. Expects Brilliant Glow's consulting capabilities, client relationships and cross-regional resources to support its "development across digital transformation, technology services, retail solutions and capital markets consulting." Sealand has paid a refundable cash deposit of GBP2.0 million on March 1, prior to starting due diligence, with the remaining GBP4.6 million due within one year of completion, unless both companies agree on a later date.
