Small-cap and AIM movers in focus:
----------
80 Mile, up 50% at 1.05p, 12-month range 0.41p-1.60p. The exploration and development firm with assets in Greenland, Finland and Italy surges. Greenland-linked stocks are boosted by a US-Denmark deal. A deal announced by US President Donald Trump gives Washington "permanent control" over Greenland's security, he said, and bars Russian and Chinese bases from the Arctic territory. Denmark and Greenland – an autonomous Danish territory – both hailed the deal and said they would sign it on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York next week. Since returning to the White House in January 2025, Trump has repeatedly insisted that Washington needed to control Greenland for strategic reasons, alarming Nato ally Denmark and sparking fierce pushback from the alliance. Earlier this month, 80 Mile announced it agreed indicative terms with Greenland Energy Co for an all-share merger. The proposed transaction values its equity around GBP61.5 million. Greenland Energy shares have more than doubled in pre-market dealings in New York on Monday to USD3.15 from their USD1.20 closing price on Friday.
----------
Craneware, down 24% at 1,026.00p, 12-month range 988.00p-2,500.00p. The financial software provider for the healthcare sector says it is "taking a prudent view" for revenue expectations in the current financial year ending June 30, 2027, resetting them to around USD185 million, equivalent to its annual recurring revenue. Analysts at Panmure Liberum noted consensus stood at USD220 million. In financial 2026, revenue inched up 0.1% to USD206.0 million from USD205.7 million, while pretax profit rose 7.4% to USD25.8 million from USD24.0 million.
----------
Elixirr International, down 12% at 547.00p, 12-month range 532.88p-905.63p. The consultancy says pretax profit rose 17% to GBP18.0 million in the six months ended June 30 from GBP15.4 million a year prior, with revenue up 25% to GBP89.0 million from GBP71.4 million. Despite this, shares plummet to a 12-month low. Peel Hunt downgrades Elixirr to 'reduce' from 'buy' and slashes its share price target to 570p from 1,100p. "With organic growth slowing and scale still modest relative to peers, we believe Elixirr's roll-up model carries greater execution risk than the market has previously priced in," the broker comments after the results.
----------
Accsys Technologies PLC, down 9.8% at 64.58p, 12-month range 58.10p-79.84p. The wood building materials firm says revenue and volumes have weakened in the first five months of its financial year. Amid "challenging macroeconomic conditions and the impact of the Middle East conflict", trading has been slower than expected. Revenue in five months to August 31 is down 6% on-year to EUR56.9 million, as sales volume slumps 11%.
