Small-cap and AIM movers in focus:
----------
Allergy Therapeutics PLC, down 59% at 1.45 pence, 12-month range 1.42p-12.10p. The biotechnology company announces plans to cancel its shares from trading on AIM and re-register as a private company, citing challenging financial market conditions, limited share liquidity and the costs of maintaining its listing. The board unanimously concludes that the move is in the best interests of shareholders, arguing that its market valuation - now about GBP95 million - does not reflect the company's underlying value and that raising further equity through AIM would be difficult. The proposals will be put to shareholders at its annual general meeting and require approval from at least 75% of votes cast. Both major shareholders have indicated their support. Allergy Therapeutics expects its final day of trading on AIM to be around five business days after shareholder approval and intends to offer a matched bargain facility to allow trading in its shares following cancellation. The company says it will continue exploring a potential primary listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange regardless of the outcome.
----------
ACG Metals Ltd, up 10% at 1,565.00 pence, 12-month range 1,000.00p-2,102.93p. Agrees to acquire Blue Moon Norway AS from Blue Moon Metals Inc for USD220 million in shares, including a 94.52% stake in the construction-stage Nussir copper mine in Norway and other development assets. The acquisition will combine Nussir, which targets first copper concentrate production in the first half of 2028, with ACG's Gediktepe mine in Turkey, which is expected to reach full commercial production in the first quarter of 2027. Nussir is expected to produce an average of 18,400 tonnes of copper equivalent annually between 2029 and 2033 on a 100% basis, taking combined production above 50,000 tonnes annually. The two assets are forecast to generate average annual asset-level adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation of USD370 million and free cash flow of USD267 million over the same period, before group costs and financing.
----------
Shield Therapeutics PLC, down 34% at 3.65 pence, 12-month range 3.30p-12.50p. The pharmaceutical company has withdrawn its guidance for operating profitability in 2026, now expecting a single-digit USD million operating loss, primarily due to additional commercial costs from taking full control of its ACCRUFeR iron deficiency treatment in the US from October 1, including an expanded sales force. Shield reports third-quarter group net revenue of USD11.5 million, up 2.0% quarter-on-quarter excluding a one-off milestone payment in the previous quarter. US ACCRUFeR revenue rises 5.0% to USD10.8 million from USD10.3 million, while average net revenue per prescription increases 4.0% to USD217 from USD208. Dispensed prescriptions remain stable at around 49,000, as a 17% increase in commercial prescriptions between the first and third quarters offsets a 56% decline in Medicaid prescriptions following changes to authorisation requirements in New York. Cash stands at USD6.8 million as of September 30. Shield says taking full US commercial control of ACCRUFeR will improve gross margins and revenue retention, supporting its path towards sustainable profitability. The company plans to provide guidance for 2027 alongside its fourth-quarter and full-year 2026 trading update.
----------
UKrproduct Group Ltd, down 23% at 6.00 pence, 12-month range 5.09p-82.86p. The Ukrainian dairy products and beverages producer warns of increasingly difficult operating conditions as Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, industrial facilities and warehouses disrupt production, refrigeration, storage and distribution. Ukrproduct says repeated power outages are driving up costs for alternative energy supplies, including diesel generators, while higher transport costs are further pressuring production expenses. Two of its facilities sustained missile damage in the first half of 2026, and more recent strikes hit nearby industrial and warehousing sites, including a warehouse immediately adjacent to one of its production facilities. The company says disruption to domestic distribution networks is also affecting its ability to reach consumers, with one major supermarket partner reporting the loss or damage of more than 60% of its warehousing capacity during the conflict. Ukrproduct warns that further losses, provisions or impairment charges may arise as the financial impact becomes clearer. It reiterates the material uncertainty over its ability to continue as a going concern, citing substantial financial and operational constraints, and says the deteriorating security environment makes reliable financial forecasting difficult.
