Wentworth Resources Shares To Be Suspended, Seeks Re-Domicile (ALLISS)

LONDON (Alliance News) - Wentworth Resources Ltd said Tuesday that its shares will be suspended from trading on AIM as the company awaits for a new ISIN after a re-domicile from Alberta, Canada to Jersey.

The East Africa-focused oil & gas company said that the re-domicile is progressing on schedule and it is expected to become effective on Friday.

Once the re-domicile becomes effective, the company will need to apply to the London Stock Exchange to obtain a new International Securities Identification Number for its shares and to Euroclear UK and Ireland to enable trading of the its shares in the CREST settlement system.

While the applications are pending, Wentworth shares will be suspended from trading on AIM and from trading on the Oslo Stock Exchange.

The suspension is expected to last for four days, starting from the date when the re-domicile becomes effective.

Wentworth Resources shares closed untraded at 21.75 pence.
