Wentworth Resources Completes Re-Domicile, Shares Suspended (ALLISS)

26th Oct 2018 18:13

LONDON (Alliance News) - East Africa-focused oil & gas company Wentworth Resources PLC on Friday said it has completed its re-domicile to the Channel Islands from Canada and changed its name.

Wentworth, which is now domiciled in Jersey, has become a public limited company. As such, it will now trade as Wentworth Resources PLC rather than Wentworth Resources Ltd.

Shares in Wentworth will be suspended from the start of trading on both AIM and the Oslo Stock Exchange while it applies for new ISIN, SEDOL, and LEI codes.

Shareholders had the right to dissent to the move and, based on the number of shareholders to have exercised this right, Wentworth is required to acquire 2.3 million of its own shares. These represent approximately 1.3% of issued shares in Wentworth.

Application to the London Stock Exchange for the admission of Wentworth's shares to trading on AIM following the re-domicile is schedule to occur next Friday.
