WANDisco To Co-Sell Fusion Platform With Microsoft Products

12th Mar 2018 11:28

LONDON (Alliance News) - Live data firm WANDisco PLC said Monday it has achieved 'co-sell' status through the Microsoft One commercial partner programme.

This means Fusion live data platform can be sold as a packaged offering with Microsoft Azure, WANDisco added.

Fusion, the company said, provides continuous replication of selected data at scale between multiple big data and cloud environments.

Chief Executive David Richards said: "This is another exciting development in our relationship with Microsoft and significantly expands our sales channel opportunities."

"Our new co-sell status is another validation of our go-to-market strategy and helps to ensure the most effective route to market for our technology."

WANdisco last Wednesday posted strong annual revenue growth and a narrowed adjusted loss. It also said it secured record bookings in 2017.

Bookings in 2017 totalled USD22.5 million, a 45% year-on-year increase from the USD15.5 million secured in 2016. WANdisco's revenue for 2017 was USD19.6 million, up 73% from the prior year's USD11.4 million.

The company's pretax loss widened to USD14.0 million from USD10.0 million in 2016. However, on an adjusted basis this figure actually narrowed to USD10.0 million from USD18.2 million.

Shares were up 2.1% on Monday at 779.90 pence each.
