UPDATE: Rare Earth Minerals, UK Oil & Gas Clarify End Of Hume Contract

LONDON (Alliance News) - Two resources companies chaired by David Lenigas Thursday clarified that Hume Capital Securities PLC has ceased work as their joint broker, disclosing that the contracts were terminated under their standard terms of engagement.

Rare Earth Minerals PLC and UK Oil & Gas Investment PLC had earlier said that Hume Capital was "dismissed" as joint broker.

WH Ireland Ltd remains nominated adviser and broker to the companies.

"Further to the announcement made this morning regarding Hume Capital ceasing to be its co-broker, the company wishes to clarify that the contract was terminated under the standard terms of its engagement. The board wishes to thank Hume for their work with the company," each company said in separate statements.
