Qinetiq Group PLC - Appoints Gordon Messenger to board as independent non-executive director from October 12, replacing James Burnell-Nugent, a former admiral who steps down from the board after 10 years at the end of 2020. Messenger served as a Royal Marine for 37 years, ending as general, vice chief of the Defence Staff, a position he held for three years until retiring in 2019.

UP Global Sourcing Holdings PLC - Oldham, Greater Manchester-based consumer brands - Ultimate Products names Jill Easterbrook and Christine Adshead as independent non-executive directors as Co-Founder Barry Franks steps down as non-executive director, all effective Monday. Franks will leave the board but remain as president, having founded the company in 1997 alongside Chief Executive Officer Simon Showman. Easterbrook was CEO of fashion retailer Boden and prior to that held senior roles at Tesco PLC for 16 years. She currently is non-executive director of Auto Trader Group PLC and Ashtead Group PLC. Adshead is a former partner at PwC, where she worked for 20 years.

Universe Group PLC - Southampton, Hampshire-based retail management solutions, payment and loyalty systems - Finance Director Daryl Paton to step down "to pursue a new career opportunity" after three years in post. Paton will remain for a handover to a successor, and the company has commenced a search.

Tandem Group PLC - Birmingham-based sports, leisure and mobility equipment - Appoints Juliet Barratt as non-executive director, subject to regulatory due diligence checks. Barratt is co-founder and former chief marketing officer of sports nutrition brand Grenade.

Invesco Enhanced Income Ltd - investment trust that aims to provide consistent and high level of income to investors - Michael Lombardi resigns after eight years on board, effective immediately, "in order to make more time for his other priorities".

Property Franchise Group PLC - Bournemouth-based estate agency franchises - Appoints Eric Walker as managing director of Martin & Co for South & Scotland, effective immediately. Intends to appoint an MD for Martin & Co for Midlands & North "in due course".
