(Alliance News) - TT Electronics PLC said Wednesday it hired Anne Thorburn as non-executive director of the electrical engineer from the start of July.
Thorburn currently serves as non-executive at Diploma PLC and BTG PLC. Until 2015, she was chief financial officer at Exova PLC having previously served as finance chief at British Polythene Industries.
TT Chair Neil Carson explained he was "delighted" Thorburn was joining the firm.
"She has many years of experience at board level in listed international businesses, including those operating in life sciences and medical markets, where TT has a growing presence," Carson said, adding that she "has particular expertise in financial management, risk, audit and M&A and I am sure she will make a valuable contribution to the ongoing transformation of TT."
Shares in TT were 2.5% lower at 236.00 pence in London on Wednesday.
