Umuthi Healthcare Solutions PLC - London-based healthcare firm - Loss in the six months to August 31 widens to GBP7,824 from GBP6,329 a year ago, as administrative expenses jump to GBP7,824 from GBP6,329. Records no revenue, unchanged a year before.

IQE PLC - Cardiff, Wales-based semiconductor wafer products - Enters a strategic collaboration agreement with SK siltron for the development and commercialisation of compound semiconductor products. "Expansion in Asia is a key focus for IQE and we are excited to be partnering with a globally-recognised leader in advanced materials," Chief Executive Americo Lemos comments.

US Solar Fund PLC - owns and operates solar power assets in North America - Says its investment manager Energy Solar Manager Pty Ltd purchased 185,352 management fee Shares on October 10, as part of its management fee, at an average price of USD0.86. The amount reflects the management share amount due to the investment manager for the period to June 30 from January 1.

Kistos PLC - London-based energy industry investor with licenses in the Netherlands - Expects the final hearing in the court process to convert its EUR14.7 million merger reserve into a distributable reserve on Tuesday. Says an issue of bonus shares, each having a nominal value to be determined as at the date of the bonus issue, will occur Monday evening.

Smurfit Kappa Group PLC - Dublin-based corrugated packaging company - Names Non-executive director Kaisa Hietala as senior independent director effective October 10. She will succeed Gonzalo Restrepo, who will continue as a non-executive director.

Leeds Group PLC - Wetherby, England-based textile manufacturing company - Says consumer confidence has been further hurt by the conflict in Ukraine since the easings of Covid-19 restrictions. Reviews options available to its business Hemmers-Itex Textil Import Export GmbH and Hemmers' subsidiary Stoff-Ideen-KMR GmbH. Decides that its KMR business is unsustainable and places KMR into an insolvency process, as it continues to extend losses. Plans for its Hemmers arm to return to profitability and confirms that sales for the current year are in line with expectations.

In the year ended May 31, revenue for KMR accounted for GBP5.3 million which made up around 16% of its overall revenue, whilst Hemmer's revenue accounted for GBP27.7 million, which is around 84% of full-year revenue.

Quartix Technologies PLC - Newtown, Wales-based vehicle tracking system provider - In the first nine months of 2022, new subscriptions grow 24% to 46,566 from 37,672 a year before. Reports that rate of year-on-year growth in annualised recurring revenue and unit installs continued to be "strong" in the third quarter. Expects revenue, profit and free cash flow for 2022 to be in line with current consensus market forecasts.

Ramsdens Holdings PLC - pawnbroker - Delivers a strong performance across each of its four key segments in the year to September 30. Expects to report full-year pretax profit ahead of expectations. Gross profit multiplies "significantly" to GBP12.6 million from GBP3.3 million a year before. As at September 30, the loan book rises by over 40% to GBP8.6 million from GBP6.1 million, which is above the pre-pandemic loan book of GBP7.7 million at 31 March 2020. Expects to release its annual financial report in mid-January 2023.

Bluejay Mining PLC - a mineral exploration and development company focused in Greenland and Finland - Completes its 2022 work programme at its Green Transition and Battery Metals Disko-Nuussuaq project located on Disko island. It is its joint venture exploration campaign with KoBold Metals. "I am excited to report that our first JV exploration campaign with KoBold at Disko-Nuussuaq has been completed successfully. The exploration work performed this summer forms the basis of what we hope will become a globally significant exploration find," Chief Executive Bo Moller Stensgaard comments.
