TRADING UPDATES: Rainbow Rare Earths updates Phalaborwa estimate

10th Nov 2025 20:03

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Monday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Rainbow Rare Earths Ltd - Developing the Phalaborwa rare earths project in South Africa - Reports updated mineral resource estimate for Phalaborwa. The MRE now includes yttrium, one of the heavy rare earth elements that has been subject to Chinese export controls since April. Update follows test work which confirms the project as a strategic source of all key medium and heavy rare earths, as well as neodymium and praseodymium. Notes a "significant pick-up in demand" for yttrium and gadolinium since the export controls were imposed. Based on incoming off-take enquiries Rainbow expects Phalaborwa as well as Uberaba to play an important role in supplying secure rare earth exports. Phalaborwa is expected to produce about 1,817 tonnes per annum of neodymium/praseodymium oxide at 99.5% purity and about 1,159 tpa of a samarium–europium–gadolinium plus, mixed rare earth carbonate product at 99.5% purity, containing 719 tpa total rare earth oxides. "Phalaborwa is a unique project in that it hosts commercial quantities of the full gamut of economically important rare earths, including the medium and heavy REE. We will therefore look to incorporate the value of the full range of strategic REE into our economic model for the project as part of the [definitive feasibility study]," says Chief Executive Officer George Bennett.

----------

Ecora Resources PLC - critical minerals-focused royalty company with assets in North America, South America, Africa, Europe and Australia - Notes updated mineral resource estimate for Rainbow Rare Earths Ltd's Phalaborwa project. Ecora holds a 0.85% gross revenue royalty on the project.

----------

Sabien Technology Group PLC - London-based provider of energy reduction technologies - Enters invoice factoring facility with Parris Group Ltd, the family office of Chair Richard Parris. Facility provides working capital as subsidiary Sabien Technology Ltd expand sales of its M2G Cloud Connect service. Adds to the previous funding agreement announced in August 2024. Contract provisions include: a non-recourse advance of 80% against any invoices assigned by Sabien Technology and a finance charge of 2.5% per month on any advances, deducted from the proceeds of the assigned invoices. The facility will be secured by way of a debenture.

----------

Hydrogen Utopia International PLC - London-based developer of technology to convert non-recyclable waste plastics into hydrogen and other clean energy - Extends the term of warrants to subscribe for 40 million ordinary shares which were issued to investors in connection with the placing and subscription undertaken at the time of its January 2022 IPO. Exercise period is now until January 9 2027. Says securing the right to negotiate access to exclusive licences for its InEnTec PEM Melter technology across the Middle East and North Africa region means it is well positioned to advance current negotiations into proposed commercialisation and partnerships across MENA. "The board believes this is an exciting milestone and an appropriate time to extend the term of the IPO Warrants as HUI accelerates its expansion into high-growth markets," comments. Notes potential joint developments and commercial collaborations in Saudi Arabia and early discussions with partners in Oman. Says it will provide an update as soon as practicable.

----------

Helios Towers PLC - London-based telecom tower company - Helios Investment Partners Fund II via Lath Holdings Ltd to sell its remaining stake in Helios Towers PLC, approximately 3.9% or 41 million shares. Certain limited partners in Fund II for whom Lath Holdings Ltd holds on trust following distributions in specie in 2021 and 2024 will sell about 2 million of the shares. The sale will see Helios Investment Partners Fund II fully exit from Helios Towers PLC. The price per placing share will be determined through an accelerated bookbuild to institutional investors. BofA Securities and Jefferies International Ltd have been appointed by Lath as joint global coordinators and joint bookrunners in connection with the placing. Helios Towers PLC aims to purchase up to 10% of the placing shares for cancellation.

----------

Everest Global PLC - Investor focused on the food and beverage distribution sector - Completes capital re-organisation following shareholder approval. Re-organisation involves the sub-division and re-classification of ordinary shares and the subsequent consolidation into new ordinary shares. Says this creates a simplified capital structure and enhanced flexibility for future corporate developments. Also, the 12.5 million shares issued in March in connection with the acquisition of Precious Link (UK) Limited have been included with the shares admitted today, correcting a historical omission.

----------

Synergia Energy Ltd - Perth-based oil and gas mining company - Completes work over of the Cambay C-64 well and the sucker rod pump is now operational. The well has been cleared of the brine kill fluid and has produced an average of 23 barrels of oil per day over the last 3 days. Elsewhere, the Aakash work over rig has been mobilized to the C-72 well; the work over has been completed and a sucker rod pump has been installed. The well is being cleared of brine kill fluid and stable production levels will be announced in due course. Following the C-72 work over, the Aakash rig is currently being mobilized to the C-74 well location for a similar work over program. Synergia holds a 50% working interest at the Cambay production sharing contract, onshore India.
