TRADING UPDATES: Crimson Tide contract extensions; NAHL sells Searches

27th Aug 2026 17:36

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Thursday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Crimson Tide PLC - Kent, England-based field management software provider - Agrees 12-month extensions to two existing public sector contracts, representing combined annual recurring revenue of GBP211,000. Both customers use mpro5 to digitalise routine inspection, servicing and compliance activity across large, geographically dispersed estates, replacing paper-based records with real-time data capture and giving central teams consistent visibility of standards across all locations. Chief Executive Jon Clarke says: "We are pleased that both of these customers have chosen to extend their contracts. Public sector organisations face the same operational challenge as our largest commercial customers - maintaining consistent standards across a large and varied estate - and this is where mpro5 excels."

----------

Light Science Technologies Holdings PLC - Derbyshire, England-based agricultural lighting and monitoring systems provider - Believes the launch of recent "substantial" new procurement opportunities provides further evidence of increasing activity within the UK building remediation market. In addition, sees encouraging signs of progress in the processing of Buildings Safety Regulator approvals across the building remediation market, including projects relevant to the company's passive fire protection pipeline. "Management believes that improving regulatory throughput, together with increasing procurement activity, should support the progression of remediation projects and conversion of the PFP division's existing sales pipeline," the company says.

----------

System1 Group PLC - London-based advertising and communications agency - Announces the launch of 'Test Your Ad Screen', an AI screening tool providing "rapid, directional" predictions of an advertisement's commercial effectiveness. Chief Executive James Gregory says: "We believe the future of creative effectiveness lies in combining AI with real human understanding. Test Your Ad Screen is trained on millions of real human emotional responses, not synthetic data or assumptions, which we believe will help marketers screen creative assets quickly while staying grounded in how people actually feel. This is not a replacement for human testing, but a complement to it, and an important next step for System1 in bringing AI and human emotion together."

----------

Valereum PLC - Manchester, England-based digital asset infrastructure firm - Says deal with Quorium Global Photonics SPC becomes unconditional. As a result, Valererum receives, from QGP, a first-ranking security interest over mining interests in Queensland, Australia. In addition, the company agrees to issue 55 million shares to QGP at par value increasing QGP's shareholding to 49.9% of Valereum. Chair James Bannon states: "It's done. We are pleased to finally confirm the completion of the definitive agreement. The transaction has taken significantly longer than expected due to its size and complexity. We are moving forward with QGP to deliver on our shared ambitions. We'd like to thank our advisers and shareholders for their support and look forward to what's to come."

----------

Kefi Gold and Copper PLC - gold and copper exploration and development company, which has projects in Ethiopia and Saudi Arabia - Having launched the development of the Tulu Kapi open pit mine and processing facility, Kefi says it will now commence detailed planning for the development of its second mine, the Tulu Kapi underground mine. This follows the results of a positive standalone preliminary economic assessment. The addition of the underground mine is expected to raise combined steady-state production at Tulu Kapi to around 180,000 ounces of gold per annum. "The PEA confirms that we can now add this second mine at Tulu Kapi using existing mineral resources and the existing plant with minor, already considered modifications," says Executive Chair Harry Anagnostaras-Adams. "Based on existing mineral resources, this would underpin combined production for 7 to 8 years of 180,000 oz of gold per annum. However, the ore body is open and there is potential for large high-grade zones at depth."

----------

NAHL Group PLC - Kettering, England-based consumer marketing services provider focused on the legal services sector - Agrees to sell its non-core, wholly-owned subsidiary, Searches UK Ltd to TM Group (UK) Ltd for an enterprise value of GBP1.2 million on a cash and debt-free basis. Searches UK has been part of NAHL since 2016 and is a supplier of residential and commercial property conveyancing searches and services to conveyancers and solicitors in England and Wales. For 2025, Searches UK delivered revenues of GBP3.3 million and earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation of GBP363,000. NAHL had previously announced that it was actively exploring strategic options to accelerate value for shareholders and considers Searches UK to be non-core. Proceeds will be allocated against the group's revolving credit facility, lowering borrowing costs. "This sale aligns with the long-term interests of our shareholders, customers, employees and other stakeholders, and is in line with our work to accelerate value for shareholders," says Chief Executive James Saralis.

----------

Bezant Resources PLC - copper and gold exploration company with assets in Namibia and Zambia, plus a manganese project in Botswana - Concludes an agreement with CL US Minerals LLC for the accelerated payment related to the ownership of the NLZM processing plant. The accelerated schedule is for a payment of USD5 million due by October 31. A balance of USD5.0 million is payable in quarterly instalments of USD415,000 starting on March 31 2029 and ending on December 31 2031. The plant is completing the upgrade and repurposing of the former lead-zinc plant to process both copper sulphide and oxide preconcentrate from the Hope & Gorob mine site where a recent mineral resource estimate update increased the life of mine to 35 years. First concentrate production remains on schedule for September. "This agreement is a major step forward in the consolidation of the corporate and financial arrangements for the Hope & Gorob mining venture," says Chair Colin Bird. "The objective of ownership will be met sooner rather than later providing the company with total control and the flexibility to consider further productivity improvements through further upgrades and increased throughput capacity."
