TRADING UPDATES: Audioboom reports quarterly revenue, profit growth

8th Jul 2025 21:45

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Tuesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Amaroq Minerals Ltd - mine developer with gold and strategic mineral assets in southern Greenland - Announces plans to file Articles of Amendment to change its name to Amaroq Ltd on July 14, following shareholder approval of a special resolution at its annual general and special meeting on June 13. Says name change will take effect on July 15, and Amaroq will commence trading under the new name on AIM and its other indices from the start of trading on or about July 17. Its ticker symbols will remain unchanged. Notes that there will be no consolidation of share capital.

----------

Zentra Group PLC - Manchester, England-based residential developer focused on the north of England - Announces intention to move its listing to the newly-launched Aquis Real Asset Market, from the Aquis Stock Exchange's Access Segment. ARAM is "a dedicated platform" for real asset-backed securities, and has been "created to meet the needs of real estate and infrastructure-led businesses, offering more appropriate structures for capital raising, and greater visibility for investors". "The company believes ARAM will allow investors to engage more directly with its pipeline of projects and provide a clearer view of how value is created at the asset level — something that's harder to achieve under a traditional single-company listing," Zentra says. Adds that it will provide a further update in due course on the timing of the transfer.

----------

Empire Metals Ltd - London-based explorer and resource developer, currently focused on the Pitfield titanium project in Western Australia - Reports the completion of "its largest drilling campaign to date" at Pitfield. Says the programme focused on high-grade titanium mineralisation within the in-situ weathered cap at the Thomas Prospect is designed to support its initial mineral resource estimate and provide important data for economic evaluation studies. The 180 drill holes comprised a total of 10,136 metres, with Thomas selected "due to the extensive, thick and high-grade titanium mineralisation hosted within the broad, in-situ weathered zone". "This campaign marks a major milestone in the development of Pitfield, laying the foundation for a globally significant MRE and enabling the identification of near-surface, high grade zones to support the development of mine planning and ore scheduling as part of upcoming economic evaluation studies," Empire says.

----------

Frontier Developments PLC - Cambridge, England-based video game developer - Announces intention to launch an on-market share buyback programme for up to GBP10 million in total, starting with immediate effect and expected to end on June 27, 2026. Says the purpose is to reduce its share capital with voting rights, so any shares repurchased will be placed into Treasury. "The buyback will return surplus capital to shareholders, improve return on equity and increase earnings per share, while maintaining the financial headroom to invest in the group's strategy to confidently deliver sustainable growth," Frontier says.

----------

Audioboom Group PLC - Jersey-based podcast publisher - Issues trading update for the three months ended June 30. Reports second-quarter adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation of USD1.2 million, up from approximately USD200,000 the prior year, "highlighting the continued strong performance of the business model". Gross profit climbs 35% on-year to USD4.0 million from USD3.0 million, as revenue rises 5% to USD17.8 million from USD17.0 million. Revenue for its global advertising marketplace Showcase increases 16% on-year, while the Audioboom Creator Network's average monthly distribution improves by 5% to 100 million views and downloads. Audioboom says it has in excess of USD70 million in revenue booked for 2025, USD5 million more than it had at the same time last year. "The second half of 2025 is primed for further growth as new podcasts join Audioboom, knowing we are leaders in delivering maximum value for their work," Chief Executive Officer Stuart Last comments. "The advertising market remains stable despite global economic uncertainties, and with our highest demand season on the horizon I am excited about delivering Audioboom's strongest ever year."

----------

Bluebird Mining Ventures Ltd - British Virgin Islands-based gold development company - Says agreement has now been executed over its gold project in the Philippines. Reiterates that it will receive a 10% profit share from the project in perpetuity over the life of the mine, and a transparent dividend policy will be implemented to ensure cash receipts. Secondly, it will receive USD250,000 bonus payments at every 5,000 ounces gold sales milestone, subject to the average price of gold exceeding USD3,000 per ounce over the period. It intends to convert future cash receipts from streaming revenues into bitcoin. The project has a total resource estimate of 440,000 ounces of gold over the licence areas, and Bluebird says it will incur no further expenditure but will retain certain rights of inspection of production plans and records. It will also be able to appoint an observer to board meetings.

----------

Vault Ventures PLC - technology development company focused on blockchain, AI, and augmented reality - Announces the completion of its retail offer which "was met with strong demand", and "will further complement" the GBP1 million fundraise it announced on July 2. Vault says it initially intended to raise GBP300,000 but the directors since resolved to increase the offer by GBP150,000. However they scaled back subscription applications to raise gross proceeds of GBP450,000 through the allotment of 2.25 billion new ordinary shares at 0.02 pence per share. Expects dealings of the new shares to commence on the Aquis Stock Exchange Growth Market on or around Monday, July 14.
