LONDON (Alliance News) - Payment processing firm Worldpay Group PLC said Thursday it will appoint Peter Jackson as chief executive officer of its UK arm.
FTSE 100-listed Worldpay said Jackson will begin as CEO of Worldpay UK from March 1, reporting to Philip Jansen, group chief executive of Worldpay. Jackson joins from Banco Santander where he was head of global innovation, as well as previously being chief executive of foreign exchange company Travelex Group.
"We are delighted to welcome Peter to Worldpay. His experience in digital innovation and business transformation, along with his extensive experience and knowledge of the financial services industry will add real value to Worldpay," said Jansen, Worldpay CEO.
