22nd Jun 2020 07:57

(Alliance News) - SEGRO PLC on Monday said it sold its sole remaining asset in Austria following the disposal of City Park Vienna to investment manager Nuveen Real Estate.

The FTSE 100 warehouse property investor said the asset - which comprises a cross-dock warehouse, a recently developed urban warehouse park and development land - was sold for EUR65 million in line with its book value as at December 2019.

SEGRO said the warehouses have a total of 20,100 square metres of space, comprising an 8,200 square-metre fully-let cross-dock facility as well as a recently-completed 11,900 square metre urban warehouse scheme, which is over 40% let. It added there is an additional 6.1 hectares of development land with building permits in place for a further 39,000 square metres of urban warehousing.

The London-headquartered company was advised by Knight Frank LLP and Otto Immobilien GMBH.

The stock closed 0.3% higher at 882.81 pence each on Friday in London.
