TEK4 Group jumps more than 40% as begins AIM trading

26th Oct 2026 15:56

(Alliance News) - TEK4 Group PLC shares soared as the engineering company made its AIM debut on Monday.

The Leicestershire-based company manufactures specialist machinery used to drill cooling holes in jet engine and industrial gas turbine components.

Shares in the firm listed at 200 pence per share, giving it a GBP42.0 million market capitalisation on admission. It raised GBP24.8 million as part of the listing, with TEK4 noting GBP22.8 million "for the benefit of" selling shareholders and GBP2.0 million stemming from the issue of new shares in the firm to institutional investors.

TEK4 shares traded at 294.90p on Monday afternoon in London, up 47% from the IPO price, giving it a market value of around GBP61.9 million.

Chief Executive Officer Jason Duffin commented: "We are delighted to be listing on AIM today and with the strong level of support from such a large range of high-quality institutional investors. Reaching this milestone is testament to the hard work and dedication of our team and the continued support and loyalty of our customers.

"As the aerospace and power-generation industries seek to produce engines that operate at higher temperatures, more efficiently and for longer, the importance of the technology sitting behind their cooling systems is constantly increasing. Our technology and IP positions us at the heart of addressing this challenge."

Duffin holds a 29% chunk of TEK4's enlarged share capital.

Panmure Liberum acted as nominated adviser, broker and sole bookrunner.
