LONDON (Alliance News) - Symphony Environmental Technologies PLC shares were given a boost on Wednesday after the company said its SANAFOR PO-5 anti-microbial product has been registered with the US Environmental Protection Agency and said it has launched a bag for life.
Symphony said the SANAFOR PO-5 masterbatch is a joint venture with Janssen PMP, a unit of Janssen Pharmaceutica NV.
Along with the registration of the product in the US, the company said it has launched the first anti-microbial plastic bag for life using the SANAFOR technology.
Symphony shares were up 12% to 8.00 pence on the back of the news, making it one of the best performers in the AIM All-Share.
