LONDON (Alliance News) - Spark Ventures PLC on Wednesday said it has raised a further GBP0.5 million from its open offer, with a 15.7% take up, bringing its total fundraising to GBP14.4 million.
Spark announced the fundraising in July as part of an asset swap and partnership deal it has inked with Gresham House PLC, under which Gresham will replace Spark's existing investment manager.
Spark said it has raised a further GBP0.5 million from its open offer, along with total gross aggregate proceeds of GBP10.6 million from the placing it launched as part of the deal with Gresham. The total funds raised by the company, including GBP3.8 million raised via the asset swaps its undertook, therefore totals GBP14.4 million.
Spark shares were up 0.6% to 4.375 pence on Wednesday.
