South African Property Makes Board Changes As Trading On AIM Resumes

11th May 2018 12:05

LONDON (Alliance News) - South African Property Opportunities PLC said Friday it has made several changes to its board as it shares are readmitted to trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange.

The company also said they have been readmitted to AIM trading on Friday, after appointing Peterhouse Corporate Finance Ltd as its corporate broker with immediate effect. Shares were temporarily suspended on May 2 after the termination of its nominated adviser and broker Panmure Gordon & Co Ltd.

The investment company had earlier this month attempted to secure shareholders' vote for a wind-down, failing to achieve it.

Michael Langoulant, who is currently executive chairman of White Cliff Minerals Ltd and holds positions within 17 other companies including LB-Shell PLC, has been appointed as a director of the company.

John Treacy, a current member of the boards of Epsion Capital Ltd, Monreal PLC and Pineapple Power Corporation PLC, has filled the position of director.

Non-Executive Directors David Hunter and David Saville and Executive Directors John Chapman and Craig McMurray have all stepped down from the board.

Shares in South African Property Opportunities were untraded at 1.20 pence on Friday.
