DALLAS (Alliance News) - Smiths Group PLC on Thursday said it has signed an agreement with US telecoms group AT&T Inc for expansion of its global communication services infrastructure for the next six years.
The agreement is valued at USD100 million would help Smiths Group to securely connect its 23,000 employees across 450 offices in more than 50 countries.
As per the agreement AT&T would ensure enhanced global network speeds and capacity solution for its locations around the globe for secure access of information.
"This extended and long-term agreement with AT&T is strategically important for us as it will help us grow our business around the world. The communications, hosting and security solutions will aid our global expansion and growth priorities, make us more agile and productive, speed up decision making, foster greater collaboration and help fuel greater innovation," said Smiths Group Chief Information Officer Stuart Beesley.
