3rd Oct 2022 10:44

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Monday.

----------

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

----------

Hyve Group PLC, up 3.7% at 52.65 pence, 12-month range 43.86p-97.6p. The events organiser refinances, signing new debt facilities for total of GBP135 million, comprised of GBP115 million new term loan and GBP20 million senior revolving credit facility. Says recovery of in-person events in its financial year has "exceeded anticipated levels". Notes positive trading momentum approaching financial 2023.

----------

Henry Boot PLC, up 4.3% at 257.54p, 12-month range 242p-349p. The property developer rises alongside property stocks across the stock exchange, with fellow smallcaps Schroder Real Estate Investment Trust Ltd and LSL Property Services PLC up 2.1% and 2.7% respectively.

----------

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

----------

Renewi PLC, down 5.5% at 534p, 12-month range 527p-855p. The Milton Keynes, England-based waste management company says revenue for the six months to September 30 is flat year-on-year. "We have experienced lower volumes in some segments of our customer base in our Commercial divisions, like construction and green waste, which we anticipate to continue during the second half. Volumes across our other divisions have remained stable," the firm explains. Earnings before interest and tax are expected ahead of the previous year. Recyclate pricing is above historic averages, but the prices for paper, plastic and metal dropped during the second quarter, it says.

----------

Saga PLC, down 6.5% at 83.25p, 12-month range 81p-369.8p. The stock extends last week's losses, after swinging to a pretax loss in its half year, and lowering annual guidance. Credit Suisse cuts the target price for the stock to 92p, from 155p at a 'neutral' rating.
