SMALL-CAP WINNERS & LOSERS: Hyve and Topps Tiles in revenue surges

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Wednesday.

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

Hyve Group PLC, up 14% at 56.85 pence, 12-month range 43.86p-123.40p. The events firm says it delivered revenue of around GBP122 million in its financial year ended September 30, compared to GBP22 million a year before, "after excluding revenues from discontinued operations in respect of Russia, Ukraine and Turkey".

Topps Tiles PLC, up 5.8% at 43.38 pence, 12-month range 37.00p-72.00p. Says sales in year ended October 1 up 11% to GBP247.3 million, a second consecutive record year. "Group sales in the 13 weeks to 1 October were 4.3% higher year on year, with positive progress from all parts of the group," the tile seller says.

Made.com Group PLC, up 6.5% at 5.05 pence, 12-month range 2.30p-165.00p. Shares in the furniture retailer continue to rise after it said on Tuesday that it is in talks with potential buyers.

SMALL-CAP - LOSERS

On The Beach Group PLC, down 4.9% at 108.44p, 12-month range 97.37p-400.50p. The stock falls as market sentiment takes a hit on Wednesday. The tour operator rallied 15% between Friday and Tuesday, so is returning gains.

MJ Gleeson PLC, down 7.3% at 394.00p, 12-month range 394.00p-862.22p. The stock is back at the 12-month low it closed at on Thursday. Since then, shares in the housebuilder had risen 7.9%, before sliding on Wednesday.
