SMALL-CAP WINNERS & LOSERS: Henry Boot lifts outlook on strong trading

19th Jul 2021 10:48

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Monday.

----------

SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

----------

Henry Boot PLC, up 5.8% at 276.20 pence, 12-month range 230p-290p. The construction company and property developer anticipates its performance in 2021 to be ahead of board expectations as a result of strong trading across the group. Among divisions, Henry Boot Developments continues to see growth in both occupier and investment demand within the industrial and logistics market, leading to positive capital returns and resulting in the group's investment portfolio valuation exceeding half-year forecasts, the company says.

----------

Amigo Holdings PLC, up 8.7% at 8.855p, 12-month range 5.26p-30.3p. Says UK Financial Conduct Authority approves Mike Corcoran as Amigo's chief financial officer and Michael Bartholomeusz as chair of risk committee. Corcoran was appointed as CFO in November 2020, and Bartholomeusz joined as a non-executive the same month. The UK High Court rejected Amigo's scheme to settle compensation claims in May after the FCA raised objections, saying it wasn't fair to customers in its current form.
