(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Wednesday.
----------
SMALL-CAP - WINNERS
----------
Argo Blockchain PLC, up 15% at 98.75 pence, 12-month range 3.51p-325p. The cryptocurrency mining firm says it has confidentially submitted a draft registration statement on form F-1 with the US Securities & Exchange Commission for a proposed dual listing and initial public offering of American depositary shares. The offering is expected to commence in the third quarter of 2021 after the SEC completes its review process.
----------
Norcros PLC, up 6.2% at 305.84p, 12-month range 135.49p-345p. The bathroom and kitchen products maker says revenue for 12 weeks to July 4 was more than double that reported for 2020, and up 19% on 2019. The UK business has continued to perform strongly, while the South African business has seen limited fallout from the recent period of social unrest. "A normalisation of consumer spending patterns and continued supply chain and Covid-19 disruption mean that market conditions are likely to remain uncertain. Notwithstanding, the board remains confident that the group will continue to win market share and make progress in line with its expectations for the current year," says Chief Executive Nick Kelsall.
----------
SMALL-CAP - LOSERS
----------
Nuformix, down 12% at 1.6p, 12-month range 1.53p-6.4p. Says that Chief Executive Anne Brindley has decided to step down. She has been made an "exceptional offer by another company which she wants to pursue". Brindley will remain in her position for the next six months.
