Silver Falcon Calls Recent Press Speculation "Factually Incorrect"

7th Dec 2015 17:44

LONDON (Alliance News) - Silver Falcon PLC Monday noted the recent movements in its share price and said some recent press speculation concerning the company contains "factually incorrect" information.

The company, which acquires businesses within the financial technology space, said "a number of material pieces of information in recent press speculation are factually incorrect and should not be relied upon."

It did not state which media pieces contained incorrect information.

"Whilst the company has had initial discussions with a possible target concerning a possible transaction, all such discussions are at a preliminary stage. No exclusivity agreement or other binding, or non-binding agreements have been entered into with any party, and there is no certainty that any such agreements will be made. A further announcement will be made in due course," it said in a statement.

Silver Falcon launched on the London Main Market in November, raising GBP1.3 million by placing 43.3 million new shares at 3 pence each.

Silver Falcon shares closed up 15% to 4.60 pence per share on Monday.
