(Alliance News) - Serabi Gold PLC on Monday hailed "high grade" results from its exploration at the Palito complex and the Coringa mine in Brazil.
The Brazil-focused mining company said results from the brownfield exploration programme, with six drill rigs currently operating across the two sites, supports the potential for production growth.
Findings include 40.30 grammes of gold per tonne at Coringa and 15.20 of gold per tonne at Palito, Serabi Gold highlighted.
Chief Executive Officer Mike Hodgson said phase 2 of the company's growth strategy "continues to yield success". This is to expand the Serabi's known gold resources by targeting areas adjacent to active mines at the two sites with high probability of mineral concentration.
Serabi Gold said it expects to conclude the 2026 brownfield exploration programme in October and to provide updated mineral resource estimates in the first quarter of 2027.
Serabi Gold shares were up 1.9% at 275.00 pence on Monday morning in London.
