Sepura Wins EUR2 Million In Contracts From Belgian Public Safety Body

LONDON (Alliance News) - UK-listed critical communications firm Sepura PLC on Tuesday said it has won EUR2.0 million worth of contracts from ASTRID, the body responsible for Belgium's TETRA public safety network.

The contracts include a five-year support and maintenance deal for existing Sepura applications used by ASTRID, plus a contract to develop a location services component.

"These contracts are a strong sign of the public safety sector's continued faith in Sepura and our continued capability to deliver innovation and excellence in critical communications," said David Barrass, Sepura's interim chief executive.

Shares in Sepura were up 3.9% to 21.56 pence on Tuesday.
