REPEAT: Reckitt Benckiser Adds National Grid CFO Bonfield To Board

LONDON (Alliance News) - Consumer health company Reckitt Benckiser Group PLC said on Monday two directors resigned from its board, while Andrew Bonfield, the chief financial officer of electricity distributor National Grid PLC, will join.

Bonfield will join the Reckitt board from July 1 and will be a member of the audit committee.

Bonfield has been CFO of National Grid since 2010. Prior to that, he was CFO at Cadbury PLC, Bristol-Myers Squibb, BG Group PLC and SmithKline Beecham PLC.

He will be stepping down shortly as a non-executive director of DIY store chain Kingfisher PLC, where he has served on the board for eight years.

Ken Hydon and Judy Sprieser will retire from the board following its annual general meeting in May. At the same, as previously announced, Adrian Bellamy will retire as chairman, to be succeeded by Chris Sinclair.

Hydon has been a member of the board since December 2003 and was chair of the audit committee from November 2006 until May 2017. Sprieser has been on the board since August 2003 and was chair of the remuneration committee from June 2004 until November 2017.

Reckitt Benckiser shares were down 0.7% at 5,635.00 pence per share.
