LONDON (Alliance News) - Renew Holdings PLC on Wednesday said its Engineering Services division boosted first quarter order book growth.
The stock was trading 1.7% higher on Wednesday at 377.20 pence a share.
In addition, Renew said Independent Non-Executive Director John Bishop intends to retire from the board, having spent more than 12 years with the company. The company has initiated the search for a replacement and will make an announcement shortly.
Ahead of its annual general meeting, the engineering services provider said trading has been in line with expectations in the first quarter of its current financial year.
Renew's order book as at December 31, 2018, stood at GBP570 million, up from GBP511 million reported at the end of 2017.
The Engineering Services unit order book was GBP522 million, up from GBP433 million the year before.
"Since the year end, the board is delighted to announce that we have secured all of the network rail control period 6 infrastructure projects frameworks that we have tendered for and that we have maintained our positions from CP5," said Chair David Forbes.
The company said it will issue interim results on May 21.
