(Alliance News) - React Group PLC on Wednesday said it has won a GBP1.8 million contract with an unnamed new customer.
Under the agreement, the Birmingham, England-based cleaning, hygiene and decontamination firm will provide cleaning services to five shopping centres in the West Midlands.
The agreement is for an initial three years, worth about GBP1.8 million over the period, with an option to extend for an additional two years.
React said the contract will commence immediately and the value of work in the current financial year, ending September 30, is estimated to be about GBP100,000.
Chief Executive Shaun Doak said: "We are delighted to bring on board another material new customer in a segment of the market where the React's offering is quickly becoming a trusted and valuable service. This contract consolidates the unique capabilities from across our group to deliver a comprehensive cleaning maintenance programme for the operator of these five successful shopping complexes in the West Midlands".
Shares in React were up 0.7% to 1.56 pence each in London on Wednesday morning.
