LONDON (Alliance News) - Niche pharmaceuticals manufacturer Quantum Pharma PLC on Monday said its Colonis unit has launched Mucodis Dermal Spray.
The spray is part of the firm's Mucodis medical devices range and is focused on treating radiation-induced dermatitis, a side effect for patients undergoing cancer treatment.
"Radiodermatitis is an unpleasant and painful side effect of cancer treatment, and we are delighted to launch Mucodis Dermal Spray to help treat these symptoms. We are excited by the potential that the Mucodis range offers the NHS and patients," said Chief Executive Andrew Scaife.
Quantum Pharma shares were up 4.1% to 69.75 pence Monday.
