(Alliance News) - Pulsar Group PLC shares fell on Tuesday after the company addressed ongoing discussions with the British tax authority over payment timing.
Shares in the London-based software-as-a-service provider for the marketing and communications industries fell 11% to 25.01 pence in London on Tuesday morning.
According to CityAM, the UK tax body HM Revenue & Customs has issued the group with a winding-up petition, a measure used to recover unpaid tax liabilities, regarding the timing of value-added tax and pay-as-you-earn payments.
Pulsar said it has already made substantial payments to HMRC and expects to settle the outstanding amounts through normal cash collection.
The group added that its underlying trading position is stable, the business is operating as normal, and the board expects to reach a satisfactory conclusion with HMRC.
