LONDON (Alliance News) - Publishing Technology PLC on Tuesday said its shareholders had approved a resolution to change the name of the company to Ingenta PLC, in line with its strategy to rebrand the group.
Publishing Technology said the name change will be effective from Wednesday. Publishing Technology was formed in 2007 through the merger of Ingenta, VISTA International and Publishers Communication Group.
In its full year results in March, the company said the "name Publishing Technology has become restrictive as we look to wider markets, particularly for our online content products. We will therefore be returning to the name Ingenta, a name known across all of our markets including China."
Shares in Publishing Technology were down 0.8% at 126.00 pence on Tuesday afternoon.
