LONDON (Alliance News) - Viacom, the US media company which owns Channel 5, has come out in support of ITV and Channel 4's campaign for retransmission fees, The Telegraph reported on Saturday.
According to the report, Viacom chief executive Philippe Dauman backed the campaign in a meeting with the Culture Secretary, Sajid Javid, last week, as he visited Britain to mark the completion of his GBP450 million acquisition of Channel 5.
