LONDON (Alliance News) - Tesco PLC has narrowed the field of candidates to replace Chairman Richard Broadbent to two, Sky News reported on Wednesday.
Sky said it understands the FTSE 100-listed supermarket has shortlisted Ian Cheshire, the former Kingfisher PLC chief executive, and John Allan, the chairman of Barratt Developments PLC, as replacements for Broadbent.
A source said the board of Tesco is keen to finalise an appointment in the next few weeks, Sky said.
