(Alliance News) - Next PLC is preparing a bid to acquire retail brand Harvey Nichols, Sky News reported on Saturday.
The department store has been put up for sale by owner Dickson Concepts (International) Ltd, Sky News reported.
Next's pursuit of Harvey Nichols is at a "relatively early stage", the report said.
Earlier this year, the FTSE 100-listed clothing and homewares acquired certain assets of British high street footwear brand Russell & Bromley Ltd from administrators for a total cash consideration of GBP3.8 million.
Back in 2023, it snapped up FatFace and Cath Kidston.
