LONDON (Alliance News) - Molecular diagnostics company Premaitha Health PLC said Wednesday it has now changed its name to Yourgene Health PLC.
The company's shareholders had approved the name change at the end of October but no specific date for the change was provided.
The firm's ticker has been changed to YGEN.
Chief Executive Lyn Rees said: "Our change of name to Yourgene Health marks the beginning of an exciting new period for the group. It reflects our broadened capabilities within the genetic testing universe and the combining of the Premaitha and Yourgene Bioscience businesses."
Yourgene shares were trading up 2.8% at 9.35 pence each on Wednesday.
